Individuals from the Nigeria police have allegedly slaughtered an expelled sergeant in a genuine firearm fight over hijacking in Owerri.
As per a report by Punch Metro, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Imo State Police Command has given dead a rejected sergeant, Martins Nwoke, for supposed inclusion in a few grab cases.
Nwoke and one other were shot dead on Saturday at Hospital Junction, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri, amid a firearm duel with the SARS agents.
Southern City News assembled that the expelled cop had gone to the region to sell a vehicle they grabbed from one of their abducted exploited people.
A police source stated, “At Hospital Junction, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri, SARS agents, driven by their administrator, Godfrey Victor, while on a tip-off, drew in two criminals and equipped burglars in a firearm duel.
“The two presumes tumbled to the prevalent capability of the police. A slag shaded Toyota Camry with number plate, LSD 857 FR, suspected to have been looted from a seize injured individual, was recuperated.
