The suspects were secured for supposedly plotting to sell their little infant for N300,000.
Anambra State Police order on Saturday said it has captured a man and his better half for supposedly selling their three-day old infant kid at the rate of N300,000.
The Police representative in the state, Haruna Mohammed, uncovered this in an announcement.
He said the suspects Chinonso Anyanwu and Oluebube Anyawu were captured following knowledge report.
He stated, “On the 30/4/2019 at about 2:pm after knowledge report, Police criminologists joined to Area Command Ihiala captured one Chinonso Anyanwu ‘m’ matured 32 years and Oluebube Anyawu ‘f’ matured 20 years of lbiasiegbe town, Imo State.
“Suspects schemed and sold their natural child (an infant kid of 3 days old) at rate of #300,000 to one Sandra Odimege ‘f’ of Umuezike, Amorka in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State.
“The three suspects have been captured and the infant recouped in great condition.”
Mohammed said the case was under scrutiny, including that the suspects would before long be charged to court.
