Super Eagles mentor, Gernot Rohr, has responded after skipper, John Obi Mikel, arrived before the actual arranged time to the national group’s preparation camp in Asaba on Sunday.
Every day POST had revealed that Mikel Obi, Leon Balogun of Brighton, Hove Albion and Levante winger, Moses Simon, were among the unexpected arrivals on Sunday, at Nigeria’s preparation camp during the current month’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Rohr said that Mikel Obi’s initial entry implies that the previous Chelsea star is exceptionally dedicated to progress admirably and to lead the group to the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Mikel Obi, who last played for his country at last year’s World Cup in Russia, is currently without a club after Middlesbrough released him.
